Lillian was a devoted member of Walnut Blvd. Missionary Baptist Church for 92 glorious years. She was baptized at the age of 11 years old by Rev. J.R. Richardson. Nanny loved her church home and family. She was member of the Walnut Blvd Missionary Union and a faithful tither and member until her death. If Nanny would see her, grand and great-grandchildren not paying attention to services she would give you a love pinch to get your attention to straighten up.

Nanny was an avid traveler with the Jolliett Traveling Group visiting many different cities throughout the United States. Nanny also did lots of traveling on her own visiting family and friends. She attended every family reunion starting in 1985 until death.
