Levator Freeman

Life’s Reflection

Levator Freeman, age 79, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 5, 2017, in Carrollton, TX.  Levator Freeman entered this world on March 1, 1937, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.  She was welcomed by her loving father Tannie Harris, Sr., and mother Minnie Harris. Levator was a sight to see with her beautiful brown eyes and breathtaking smile! She was the apple of everyone’s eyes! She lived most of her life in Kansas City, Kansas, which she called home.

She loved her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and faithfully committed her service as a member of First Baptist Church in Kansas City, Kansas for over 68 years. She also served on the Board of Trustees for First Baptist Church for over 20 years. She worked for Ralph Johnson and Company as an accountant until her retirement in 2014.

Levator is preceded by Tannie Harris, Sr. father, Minnie Harris, mother, Maurice Harris, brother, and Tannie Harris, Jr., brother and son Eddie S. Freeman, II.

Survived by Nimrod and Marie (Harris) Adkins, sister and brother-in-law; Markham D. Freeman, (Sherri) son; Keith and Kathleen Freeman, son and daughter; Jeffrey H. Freeman, son; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, friends and loved ones.
