Revelation 21:3, 4 speaks of a time in the near future when God will wipe out every tear from the eyes of those who mourn. Death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. Why? The former things will have passed away and they will never come to mind again. What a beautiful hope our loving Heavenly Father Jehovah God has given us through the gift of his most precious son Jesus Christ. May you rejoice in the hope of seeing your loved ones again in the promised resurrection at John 5:28, 29.

I've known Leon for 42 years, I 15 years old, when he became my very first barber in 1970, at Parks Barbershop, on 7th St. Parallel. I would often stop by his Barbershop, and or 20 Men Establishment on 13th St. & Quindaro just to say hello. He always had that beautiful smile and spirit, every time I saw him, he had a heart of gold, but never tolerated any disrespect from anyone, always remembered, and never forgotten, REST WELL MY FRIEND!!!

I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.

I've known Leon since I was a little girl (over 50 years). He was a pillar in the community, he was a great mentor and friend. He nicknamed me "Slim Goody". He will truly be missed. To the Gaskin family, I send to each of you my sincere sympathy and condolences. Praying that you will be able to make it through this difficult time. Love you Leon!💞💞💞
