Life’s Reflection

Jeffrey Thomas Anderson, known to friend as Jazzy, was born April 25, 1962 Kansas City, Kansas to David Anderson, Sr. and Esther Thomas Anderson.  Jeffrey grew up in Kansas City, Kansas. He graduated from Wyandotte High School in Kansas City, Kansas. After graduation Jeffrey began to work in the grocery store business in the produce area for several years.  Jeff worked at a plant shipping airplane parts for several years and after two hip surgeries he could no longer lift heavy objects and could not stand for a lone period of time. He had seizures and most of the time he was in the hospital.  He was disabled for over ten years.

Jeffrey married Norma J. (McKindra) Carr in 2000 in Kansas City, Kansas. They were married for sixteen years.

Jeffrey’s presence was extraordinary He looked forward to our road trips to family reunions and our trip to Disney World given by the Make A Wish Foundation for Ashley Wilson.  He loved cooking for the family especially on the holidays.   The grandchildren loved him, because he was so much fun to be around.  If there was a party he was front and center ready to help out in any way.  He loved being the center of attention.  When you came around he made you feel welcome and you’d always leave laughing about something he said or did.  I know without a doubt that he loved his family and was never too proud to express it, with actions; words; and tears. Jeffrey also enjoy fun times with his, cousins; and his friends, along with his family.

Jeffrey T. Anderson passed away at his home in Kansas City, Kansas. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, Esther and David Anderson, Sr. his grandparents; uncle, Willis Thomas; and one child, Ashley Wilson.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Norma Anderson of Kansas City, Kansas; daughter, Brittney Carr of Kansas City, Kansas; his brothers and one sister, David Anderson, Jr.  of Kansas City, Missouri; Patrick Anderson; and Felicia Brooks (Henry) of Kansas City, Kansas; his grandchildren Bria and Ariel Sherwood; and a host of nieces, nephew, aunts, uncle, cousins, and other relatives, and friends.
