Life’s Reflection

Jeanette Swygert was born April 28, 1962 in Dumas Arkansas to the late Roscoe and Doris Jean Swygert.

At an early age Jeanette accepted Christ as her lord and savior in St Roberts, Missouri.

She was a graduate of Waynesville High Class of 1980.

Upon graduation Jeanette moved to Kansas City, Kansas where she attended area vocational technical school graduating with her certification as a CNA. She then began her journey in the neonatal department at Bethany Medical until birth of her oldest son Richard.  After, she took a position working at Western Missouri Mental Health Center in 1996-97, as a psych tech.  Furthering her career path Jeanette became a receptionist at the local Social Security Office in Kansas City, Kansas in 2006 through a local temp agency. Thus transferring to the local office in Missouri, she earned position as the contact representative of the disability adjudication also known as ODAR which soon became her permanent home until retirement.  She was deeply loved and will be missed by immediate family and close friends and co-workers in ODAR.

Jeanette was a loving, giving, caring and very compassionate woman. Who would give you the world if she was able. Holding a smile while doing everything in her power to make you feel welcome.

She leaves to mourn her companion of 29 years Hosea Adams; oldest son, Richard Crawford Jr (Crystal); daughter, Tyeshia Adams; and youngest son, Martez Adams; one sister, Lisa Swygert of Kansas City, Kansas; two brothers, Eugene Swygert of Kansas City, Kansas; and Christopher Swygert (Adrienne) of Kansas City, Missouri; five grandchildren, Andreas Crawford; Alexzander Crawford; Tre’shawn Adams; Christina Fields; and Jeremiah Adams; five uncles, Walter Dobbs, Sr. Kansas City, Kansas; Luddie Dobbs, Jr. New Haven, Connecticut; Robert Dobbs, Sr. Houston, Texas; Willie Dobbs, Sr. Houston, Texas; and Charles Dobbs Dumas, Arkansas; Classie Duarte New Haven, Connecticut; Dorothy Thomas Chicago, Illinois; Helen Wilson Houston, Texas; Aretha Scott Chicago, Illinois; and Joyce Long Kansas City, Missouri; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.
