De’Onna Monae Goodson was born on August 21, 2015 in Kanas City, Kansas to Dorothy Griffin and De’Andre Goodson.

De’Onna was the 6^th of seven children.  She had a very contagious smile.  Her smile would light up any room.  We knew De’Onna would soon part way with us.  She was born with a disease called hydrocephalus.  We had a long fight and De’Onna was a fighter.  She was loved by many.  De’Onna parted way May 14, 2017.

De’Onna is preceded in death by her father, De’Andre Goodson Sr., her twin sister, De’Ann Moej Goodson; and her uncles, Nathaniel Ramone Allen and Leonard D.  Chares Jr.

De’Onna leaves to cherish her memory; mother, Dorothy Ann Griffin, step-father, Anthony Ford II; four sisters, De’Meya Goodson, Kei’Chell Taylor, De’Neya Goodson and De’Monnie Johnson, two brothers, De’Andre Goodson Jr. and Dre’Vonte Goodson; both maternal and paternal grandparents, Henry and Latricia Griffin and Channel Goodson; and a host of aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
