Cliffie Marie (McCrary) Owens

Cliffie's Story

Cliffie Marie McCrary Johnson Owens was born August 14, 1928 in Kansas City, Kansas to Edward and Fannie McCrary. Cliffie was one of 13 children - the others were Charles, Robert, Kenneth, Edward, Edna, Earl, Larry, Claude, George, Isaac, Frank, and Joseph Jr.

Cliffie had two children, Ethel Marie Johnson Arbuthnot (Herman) and Michael Tyler Johnson, along with one grandchild, Michelle Tyrene Johnson.

Preceding Cliffie in death were her parents, many of her siblings, friends, and her husband James Owens.

Ethel and Michelle thank friends and family for their love and support with special thanks to the caregivers of Medicalodge and Hospice Partners.

A Memorial Gathering is planned for December 10, 2016 from noon to 1:30 P.M. at Just Off Broadway Theater, 3051 Central, KCMO 64108 and in lieu of flowers, family asks that a donation be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
