Life’s Reflection

Chandra Dina Weaver was born May 9, 1967, in Kansas City, Kansas from the second union of Arthur T. Weaver to Jamesetta M. Weaver. She received her diploma at Southwest High School.  She spent the most of adult life living and working in Kansas City, Missouri.  Her final role in this llife was at the Hotel Continental on the Plaza, working as a Housekeeper.

Her loving brothers and sisters are: Diane Weaver-McDonald (Jody McDonald); Eleanor Weaver-Miller (Worley Miller); Diana Weaver; Michael C. Hubbard; Jamiela Turner (Hugh Turner); and Marcell Smith.

She was an adoring mother of two sons and one daughter, Robert William, Jr.; Frank K. Smith; and Valencia Alexander; two grandchildren, Kmani L. Williams; Raymond Lee Rex, III; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.

Preceding Chandra in death son, Frank K. Smith and sister, Diane Weaver-McDonald.

Chandra had a passionate, dedicated love for every one she met. She extended that love to every child she cared for. With respect for that love, she will also be leaving to morn her memory, honorary grandchildren: King Edward; and Kayden. She will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her vibrant personality. She loved life and lived it to the fullest.  She also had a knack for remembering birthdays.  You could always expect a call from her, even down to her great nieces and nephews.

At a very young age she was baptized and came to know the lord. She was proud to recite all 66 books of the bible by heart and in order. She later joined Olivet Institutional Baptist Church, where she continued her journey through life. Her favorite poem was footprints in the sand; it was the perfect representation of her relationship with God and she knew it.

She went to be with Lord November 17, 2015.  That’s why we don’t see her foot prints in the sand.   She’s at rest His bosom, happy and free in paradise smiling on her family, friends and loved ones.  We were blessed to be able to call her daughter, sister, mom, grandma, auntie, cousin, and friend. REGULATOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
