Carol A McBride’s Life Reflections

“A limb has fallen from the family tree that says grieve not for me.  Remember the best times, the laughter, the songs and the good life I lived while I was strong”.

A Time To Be Born: On November 1, 1942 Carol A. Moore was born to the late Mathew and Hazel Moore in Bronx, New York.

A Time To Live and Learn: Carol graduated from Morris High School in the Bronx. She worked in New York for many years as a seamstress and was very good at her work.  Later, she moved to Kansas City, Missouri with her husband and began to work at Dear Brooke Nursing Home. There she did staffing until she retired. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Kansas City, Kansas where she served on the Usher Board and later she became a deaconess. Carol moved her membership to Friendship Baptist Church where she retained her status as a deaconess, served in the Children’s Church, the WMU, Sunday School Class #1, Prayer Partners Ministry (Corresponding Secretary) and Wonderful Wednesday.

A Time To Love: In 1983, Carol married Jaycee McBride. It was a combined family of two boys and two girls. They had many good years and their marriage lasted until her death.
