Precious Memories of

Baby Maurice Hakeem Berry, Jr.

Maurice Hakeem Berry, Jr. crossed over February 22, 2017 at his father’s place of residence, in Kansas City, Missouri.  He was born on September 8, 2016, in Kansas City, Missouri to his loving mother and father, Maurice D. Berry Sr. and Jovae’ Nicole Gomez.

Hakeem spent his days with family from Kansas City, Missouri to Kansas City, Kansas.  Hakeem was a strong-willed baby boy with a smile that would warm the center of a glacier, as young as he was, he impacted many with his loving-yet piercing eyes, and cute attitude.  He had will like nothing, his mother and father had ever seen, determined to push his little body limits beyond the limits adults had set for him.  Hakeem was a power source in his own right.  He charged the heart of his mother and father, along with everyone else who crossed his path.  Hakeem was survived in death by everyone who believed, he could possibly be able to change the world, or at least assist in doing so.  We should all take this time to remember this young “King” as he was, loving, and in charge, “A Real King” in the making.

We mourn, because we miss him in the physical world.  But let us rejoice for Hakeem’s Legacy is not over.  His purpose will be fulfilled in Heaven. With glorious determination.  Hakeem, we just ask you to speak to God in our favor, and know, you’ll always be loved.  The Family wishes to extend their gratitude to God! For giving us such a precious jewel.  He and his loving memory will forever change our lives. “To King Hakeem Berry”

From Mommy:

Maurice Hakeem Berry Jr, a little angel just of 5 months 14 days old, time was short but you never failed to always have a smile on your face flashing your gums at mommy and daddy, your little two front bottom teeth drooling to put every single thing in your mouth, laughing, cooing and screaming.... Jumping around exited to stand screaming, testing your new almost talking voice, with your new words "dadadaii" your cubby little legs ready to crawl.  You were a happy soul, my safe haven. We will always remember you in the best ways of a memory. Our little angel Hakeem, you are the light of my nights my angel from above. We love you deeply always and forever your memory will live on.  Our strong little man, Keem.  Our love is eternal, momma's boy.
